Day 1:25th july 2014:Entebbe- Bwindi After breakfast we'll board a flight taking us close to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park – our destination for tracking gorillas. . (Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge: BLD) Day 2 :26th july 2014:Gorilla Tracking We'll begin our excursion early today at the park gate.This interesting adventure will take approximately 2-8hrs to find the gorillas dependingon which group you track. Based on the amount of time tracking the gorillas, there might be time for (Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge: BLD) Day3:27th july2014: We'll travel by road this morning, crossing the Equator – until we arrive at Lake Mburo National Park, part-way between Bwindi Park and Entebbe time to swim. (Mihingo Lodge: BLD) Day4:28th july 2014: Today is your chance to enjoy many optional activities booked through our lodge such as: game drives on horseback, safaris by van, walking safaris, boat rides on the lake, birding, tennis, massage, biking or just taking a swim & watching animals come to the lodge watering hole. Later in the afternoon we'll begin our 3 hour drive to Entebbe, for people to connect with their late evening flights to Arusha.overnight Serena Mt. Village: BD Day 5:29th july 2014: Today begins with breakfast & a leisurely morning for optional activities around our hotel – such as walking, biking, canoeing, swimming, massage, etc. Later on we'll venture out for a half day tour of the area, including our first game drive. As we enter Arusha National Park we may get to see zebra, elephant, giraffe, klipspringer, cape buffalo and more. This is a Serena Mt. Village: BD) Day 6:30th july 2014: Shortly after breakfast we'll drive west from Arusha. Our first stop will be at Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. As we drive through the forested entryway into the park – look for monkeys & baboons, as well as many types of birds. Keep your eyes peeled for giraffe, zebra, gazelle, impala and more as we make our way to the boggy area surrounding the lake where hippos like to soak. Then it's on to the lake with it's vast array of birds to spot. If we're very lucky, we might even see the illusive tree climbing lions in the park – so keep your eyes open. After our game drive we'll travel to our lodge overlooking Ngorongoro Crater. We'll also make a stop at one of the local Maasai villages to see how the (Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge: BLD) Day07:31st july 2014: After breakfast we'll drive into Ngorongoro Crater, “Africa's Eden”, for a lengthy game drive and picnic lunch within the crater. The blue green crater, is home to over 30,000 animals and birds – all except for the giraffe, who can't climb the walls, & the cheetah, due to the many hyenas there who eat the cubs. (Mbuzi Mawe Serena Luxury Tented Camp: BLD) Day 08:01st aug 2014: Today begins with a game drive at dawn. This is one of the best times for seeing animals – especially lion, cheetah & leopard - who might still be eating their morning meal. The Serengeti (“endless plain” in Swahili) is a very large park, with vast and impressive vistas. At this time of year the rains will just have stopped - meaning there will be thousands of wildebeest and zebra eating the last of the green grasses before joining those already starting the migration into Kenya, in search of new grasses. (Mbuzi Mawe Serena Luxury Tented Camp: BLD) Day 09:02nd aug 2014: – After breakfast we'll begin our drive to the Isabenia Border Crossing into Kenya. We'll be making a circle & in a sense traveling with the great wildebeest migration today. Some say there are 1,000,000 wildebeest who migrate every summer into Kenya, along with 200,000 zebras - and we'll be seeing many of them along the way. Our morning game drive will be enroute today, with opportunities to stop from time to time to see the wildlife up close. (Mara Serena Safari Lodge: BLD) Day 10:03rd aug 2014: Our game drive today begins before breakfast, as we explore the amazing plains of the Maasai Mara. We'll check out the activity at the Mara River & look for wildebeest, zebra, hippo and crocodile. Of course we'll also hope to see a number of cats – males, females and cubs. If they're finishing their meal, (Mara Serena Safari Lodge: BLD) Day 11:04th aug 2014: After breakfast we'll leave our lodge, having our game drive enroute, as we head out of Maasai Mara National Park. We'll drive through Kenya's famous Rift Valley, heading toward the country's lake region. After lunch we'll take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha you will see animals like waterbuck, wildebeest & zebra. . (Lake Elementeita Serena Luxury Tented Camp: BLD) Day 12:05aug 2014:– After breakfast, we'll travel to nearby Lake Nakuru National Park for today's game drives. The park is famous for it's thousands of flamingos, due to the alkaline water of the lake. As we travel through the park we can look for lion, zebra, cape buffalo, waterbuck, bushbuck, gazelle, eland and much more. We'll have lunch at a lodge within the park, known for it's many small & colorful bird sightings. (Lake Elementeita Serena Luxury Tented Camp: BLD) Day 13:06aug 2014:– Our drive to Nairobi today will be a short one, so we'll have time for a leisurely morning at our camp to enjoy options like swimming, massage, a walking safari, birding, etc. - or maybe an optional visit to some Rift Valley archeological sites. We'll have lunch before heading to Nairobi Airport for some people's late afternoon flights
