Mountain gorillas also known as (Gorilla beringei beringei),are found in Africa specifically in three countries which are Uganda, Rwanda and Congo.There are about 700 Mountain gorillas in the world and Uganda host 350 Mountain Gorillas while the rest of the worldwide mountain gorilla population is in the nearby
Virunga Mountains which is shared by Rwanda, Uganda and Democratic
Republic of Congo.
In Uganda Mountain gorillas are found in Bwindi National Park which is approximately a 6hrs drive from Kampala city.The beauty of this docile giants is that they are friendly to human and they live in Groups, each group is composed of about 10 - 15 members and its headed by an alpha silver back.
The mountain Gorillas are considered to be an endangered species because of poaching, habitat loss and disease.

DAY 2: Gorilla Trekking
Gorilla trekking in the thick forest through the gorilla paths searching
for giant mountain gorillas, afternoon community walks around the village to interact
with the village members. Dinner and overnight as above in day 1.
DAY 3: Departure
Depart the park and visit the cultural museum in Mbarara at Igongo then
head to Kampala in the evening for your flight.
